Volunteer Interviewer Training
Thank you for volunteering as a survey interviewer for the 2018 Minnesota Homeless Study!
If you have not signed up to volunteer, please sign up now.
Please review the following materials and watch the training videos before October 25. You can either attend an in-person training or watch the training videos below. All registered volunteers will receive their site assignment in early October.
Registered volunteers will also receive these handouts via postal mail in early October.
If you prefer to train with others, several options are available. You do not need to RSVP. All trainings take place at Wilder Center, 451 Lexington Parkway North, St. Paul. Parking is free in the Wilder Center ramp.

Introduction (5 minutes)

Provides important information on how to conduct a social service interview.
Navigating the Interview (20 minutes)
Provides detailed instructions on how to navigate the survey form itself in order to reduce errors and produce study data that will be useful and accurate.

Highlights how the survey used for the Reservation study differs from the statewide survey.
